1. 1Day 1Departure – Rome

   Arrival in Rome under your own arrangements – meet the tour leader at the hotel at 6:00 pm – dinner at the hotel or in a restaurant – after dinner, Rome by night by private coach with a guide, along a captivating route (the Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine, the Aventine Hill and the Circus Maximus, the Mouth of Truth, Viale Aventino, Lungotevere Testaccio, the Flaminio district, the Foro Italico, Ponte Milvio) – tasting of a classic Roman dessert – overnight stay.

2. 2Day 2Exclusive Rome – the Capitoline Hill, the Capitoline Museums, San Pietro in Vincoli.

   Breakfast at the hotel – a full day given over to a guided exploration of an exclusive Rome: returning to the theme of Christian Rome, we discover the splendid Basilica of Santa Cecilia in Trastevere with its early Christian baptistery, followed by a visit to the Janiculum Hill and the church of San Pietro in Montorio with Bramante’s Tempietto, the Acqua Paola Fountain and the Janiculum belvedere – lunch at leisure – in the afternoon, a guided visit of the Capitoline Hill, the Capitoline Museums and the church of San Pietro in Vincoli with Michelangelo’s Moses – dinner in a traditional Roman trattoria – after dinner, Rome by night: a walking tour with the tour leader through the Rome of la dolce vita (Porta Pinciana, Via Veneto, Piazza Barberini, Via Sistina, the façade of Palazzo Zuccari in Via Gregoriana, Trinità dei Monti, the Fontana di Trinità dei Monti with its cannonball, the Pincio) – overnight stay.

3. 3Day 3Classical and Christian Rome

   Breakfast at the hotel – in the morning, a guided visit of Classical Rome, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (the Roman Forum, Trajan’s Forum and Column, Via dei Fori Imperiali, the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill) – lunch at leisure – in the afternoon, a guided visit to some of the gems of Christian Rome (the Basilica of San Clemente and its underground levels, the Baptistery and Piazza del Laterano, San Giovanni in Laterano) – dinner in a traditional restaurant – after dinner, Rome by night: a walking tour with the tour leader and private coach through Trastevere and the Jewish Ghetto (Via Giulia, the elegance and refinement of Piazza Farnese, Campo de’ Fiori, Ponte Sisto, Piazza Trilussa, Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, Tiber Island, the Ghetto, the Portico d’Ottavia, the Turtle Fountain, Largo di Torre Argentina) – overnight stay.

6. 6Day 6Renaissance Rome, nineteenth-century Rome and more

   Breakfast at the hotel – free time for shopping and independent visits – the tour leader is at guests’ disposal – for shopping, we recommend the Piazza di Spagna quarter, the drawing room of eighteenth-century Rome and to this day an unrivalled draw with its historic cafés and its streets, where Romans and visitors from around the world come for shopping with real style (Via della Croce, Via delle Carrozze, Via Condotti, Via Borgognona, Via Frattina, Via della Vite) – lunch at leisure – free time for shopping – end of the tour.
