1. 1Day 1Departure – Rome

   Arrival in Rome on your own – meeting at the hotel at 6:00 p.m. with your tour leader – dinner at the hotel/restaurant – after dinner, Rome by night with a private coach and guide along a spellbinding route (Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, the Aventine Hill and Circus Maximus, the Mouth of Truth, Viale Aventino, Lungotevere Testaccio, the Flaminio district, Foro Italico, Ponte Milvio) – tasting of a traditional dessert – overnight stay.

2. 2Day 2Exclusive Rome – Capitoline Hill, Capitoline Museums, San Pietro In Vincoli.

   Breakfast at the hotel – full day devoted to a guided visit of an exclusive Rome: returning to the theme of Christian Rome, we discover the splendid Basilica of Santa Cecilia in Trastevere with its early Christian baptistery, then climb the Janiculum Hill for the church of San Pietro in Montorio with Bramante’s Tempietto, the Acqua Paola Fountain and the Janiculum belvedere – lunch on your own – in the afternoon, guided visit of the Capitoline Hill, the Capitoline Museums and the Church of San Pietro in Vincoli with Michelangelo’s Moses – dinner at a traditional Roman trattoria – after dinner, Rome by night: walking tour with your tour leader through the Rome of la dolce vita (Porta Pinciana, Via Veneto, Piazza Barberini, Via Sistina, the façade of Palazzo Zuccari on Via Gregoriana, Trinità dei Monti, the Fontana di Trinità dei Monti with its cannonball, the Pincio) – overnight stay.

   Breakfast at the hotel – free time for shopping and/or visits on your own – tour leader at your disposal – for shopping we recommend the Piazza di Spagna district, the drawing room of 18th-century Rome and still today an unrivaled draw, with its historic cafés and its streets where Romans and travelers from around the world come for elegant shopping (Via della Croce, Via delle Carrozze, Via Condotti, Via Borgognona, Via Frattina, Via della Vite) – lunch on your own – free time for shopping – end of the tour.
