    Breakfast at the hotel – in the morning guided visit of Lucca (Church of San Francesco, Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, Basilica of San Frediano, Palazzo Pfanner, the city’s Renaissance walls, Piazza Napoleone and Palazzo Ducale, Cathedral of San Martino) - typical lunch in a restaurant – in the afternoon guided visit of Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti (Palazzo Pitti houses some of Florence’s most important museums: on the first floor is the Palatine Gallery with a vast collection of 16th- and 17th-century paintings, together with the Royal Apartments furnished with 19th-century period pieces. On the ground and mezzanine floors is the Treasury of the Grand Dukes, also known as the Silver Museum, which contains the Medici family’s great collection of precious objects. The Gallery of Modern Art is on the top floor and houses an outstanding collection of paintings, including works by 19th- and 20th-century Tuscan artists. In the Palazzina del Cavaliere, detached from the palace and set within the Boboli Gardens, is the Porcelain Museum, while the Palazzina della Meridiana houses the Museum of Fashion and Costume, known as the Costume Gallery, with garments and fashion artefacts tracing the history of the past 300 years) and the UNESCO-listed Boboli Gardens - dinner in a gourmet restaurant – free evening – tour leader at guests’ disposal – overnight stay.

    Breakfast at the hotel – in the morning guided visit of the UNESCO-listed Uffizi Gallery (the Gallery occupies the entire first and second floors of the great building constructed between 1560 and 1580 to a design by Giorgio Vasari: it is one of the most famous museums in the world for its extraordinary collections of ancient sculpture and paintings from the Middle Ages to the modern era. Its 14th-century and Renaissance painting collections contain some of the absolute masterpieces of all time, including works by Giotto, Simone Martini, Piero della Francesca, Fra Angelico, Filippo Lippi, Botticelli, Mantegna, Correggio, Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Caravaggio, as well as masterpieces of European painting, especially German, Dutch and Flemish) – lunch on your own – free time for shopping – in the afternoon departure for the return journey – arrival in the evening.
