1. 1Day 1Rome – Trieste, 670 km

   Departure from Rome for Trieste – lunch on your own along the way – in the evening, check-in at the hotel in Trieste – dinner at the hotel – after dinner, Trieste by night: walking tour of the historic center with your tour leader – overnight stay.

2. 2Day 2Trieste “Mitteleuropean charm”

   Breakfast at the hotel – full-day excursion – guided tour of Trieste (an extensive tour of the Theresian Quarter, the waterfront, Piazza Unità d’Italia, the Porto Nuovo, the Risiera di San Sabba, one of the most significant sites of World War II – exterior visit – San Giusto Hill with the cathedral and the castle – interior visit – a walking tour through the historic center and the Jewish quarter, and Miramare Castle and its park – interior visit) – lunch at a traditional beer hall – free time for shopping – dinner at the hotel – free evening, tour leader at your disposal – overnight stay.
